For this project, I'll invent an imaginary company for my first capstone project and develop its brand platform, including its mission, personality, and attributes.

As a UI/UX designer, my role is to make sure the app improves the user experience and customer satisfaction that ultimately helps increase the number of users of this particular app.

Most of my participants were female between 26–44

The main criteria for buying online clothes are Price, Style Size & Fit

The main reason for retuning online clothes is split between size and doesn’t look good on me

It’s taken me quite a while to wade through all the answers and numbers and to be honest gathering insights from this kind of data collection was quite complex than I initially anticipated, and that is because I had multiple answers which I couldn’t use or get any insights from.

After defining the “bigger picture” of the experience I needed to provide the users, I created a user flow by keeping personas in mind to make this experience of their goals. The point of this was to define the intended steps the users might take through various pages and actions on the app in order to complete their goal.

I wanted to minimize the steps users needed to take to complete the checkout process by allowing them to sign in to their account. This would automatically input their checkout information for them to streamline the process.

Wireframes are extremely important on complex builds because they allow design teams to quickly introduce concepts before jumping into detailed visual designs. On this project, I used wireframes to showcase UI & UX features, introduce the concept of reusable content and have engaging discussions about the user data behind the designs.

Some of the suggestions from the participants after the final test were :

I usually love bright colors. As you see this app is exclusively for kids clothing orange, purple and white color combination works.

Menus are good. I see all the elements in one go and it avoids chaos.

Overall the elements are placed correctly. The colors look cool. Pictures could have been used instead of crosses.

I think a few icons used here are very unique and the color combinations are also rare and I haven’t seen much in other websites or apps.

Like in photography the website is important for us likewise the options that are displayed in the menu are so clear that it is easy to choose and it avoids confusion. The text used here is not too formal.

The UX is the experience, emotion, intuition, and connection a user feels when using an app.

While usability is a key component of the overall user experience, simplifying the login screen will make it more user-friendly while Menus and Navigation even more Simpler.

Most important pages in mobile app should be accessible so I don’t confuse users with complicated navigation bars.

Make it clear to the users what can be selected or swiped.

Work on design patterns to reduce the learning curve for users and to make the mobile experience more intuitive.

Lessen the steps as much as possible cuz adding too many steps did annoy the user

Maintain the consistency in the navigation system so that it will provide consistency in User Experience.
